2025 – Final meeting of the RSMMS working group on the regularisation of undocumented migrants
The final meeting of the RSMMS network’s working group dedicated to the regularisation of undocumented migrants will take place on 9 December 2025. During the meeting, the policy document developed over the past two years will be discussed, before being presented to the European institutions next year.
Representatives from the European Trade Union Confederation, the International Trade Union Confederation, and the Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants will also be in attendance. Shared by the Belgian, Italian, Spanish, and French trade unions participating in the RSMMS network, together with the German Trade Union Confederation and the ETUC, the document aims to contribute to shaping of the European policies on regularisation, which remain insufficient in many countries. The text draws inspiration from experiences considered best practices, such as Spanish immigration legislation (extranjería).
The meeting will take place at the premises of the General Federation of Belgian Labour in Brussels, supported by the Ebert Foundation in Tunisia.
